I'm a southern California native, and Own and Operate JB Psychotherapy, Coaching & Consulting. I was a competitive athlete for more than 20 yrs and a collegiate softball player. My athletic and academic career was an integral part in my development as an overall person. I understand the benefits of movement and education on someone's overall life and now as I have developed my career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy. I have come to understand the importance of our mind, body soul connection. More importantly, being a collegiate athlete and the first to graduate from college in my family, I can resonate with the stressors and challenges that student athletes can experience. 

I currently still engage in martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing to support my competitive spirit, build personal growth and maintain movement in my life. Furthermore, I also provide softball lessons to developing players. 

I am a licensed psychotherapist, clinical certified trauma professional, certified EMDR professional and certified integrative mental health professional. Furthermore, I am a wellness and performance coach. I utilize my personal, educational, professional and athletic background and current business development skills to support those I work through psychotherapy and coaching services.
